so lets talk about oreon.

best summer of my life.
by any means.
what more could you ask for besides meeting great people, hanging out with great friends, and snowboarding.
living in the "woods."

so lets start from the beginning.

scottie and i left for oregon on the morning of may 29th. in hopes of getting a few extra days of awesome. we hung out in the airport. our place took off around nine ish.
we flew through phoenix to save some money and got to portland.
we got a kick ass super eight motel room. then cruised the streets.
portland is pretty rad. its really small. and has a lot of sweet stuff to see.
we took the max, which is there little train around the city. so awesome and easy.
we couldn't find anyplace to eat. until we finally found a mcdonalds.
there is a lot of homeless people in portland.
we went back to the room late. then lived on the streets the next day.
it was fun. we dragged out luggage. big duffle bag and board bag all over the city.
we went to burnside for a while. it was fun. hard as balls to skate. and smaller than i pictured. we waited around all day for rachel to get there.
we wound up taking the max to gresham.
hung out in borders with our bags. got in trouble.
drove up to govy. to the snowball house.
it was a great house. pretty big. large couch. lots of bedrooms.

there were a few problems with the house and the roomies. haha.
no fridge. troubles with rent.

we went snowboarding more or less everyday.
met arieanna wahoooooo. way cool lady friend. she liked my pants haha.
we hung out for the rest of the summer.
she comes to the east coast in forty nine days.
the public park was pretty fun to begin with.
flat box. few jumps.
it got better. it got worse.
but it was always fun.
we got to ride mount hood summer ski camp a lot becuase those dudes are so rad. and nice.
rode windells some. super fun everything.
mhssc jump's were the shit.
we filmed quite a bit and i made a little video. you can see it on youtube.com "an oregonian adventure"

mhssc had the best rail ever. single barrel 30 ft down rail.
so much fun. did fun stuff on it all the time.

so lets list the cool kids who were there. me, scottie, arieanna, jarred, mark "spiker",
boston joeeee, ali, jay c, bobby, eric, anna, jesse, kendra, anglie, matt, big tim, alice, and everyone yayyyyyyyyyyy.

so we went cliff jumping all the time it was the shit.

um we just went snowboarding a lot. and had some parties.
and next summer should be even better.
i'll put some pictures on here and videos and what not.

i hate school.
i get real bummed when i come back.
i think i should have been an architect.
i plan on going back to school for it.
after seeing how engineering works out.
but i just want to snowboard.
sit by a river.
hang out in the woods.
go on hikes.
cliff jump.
and build shit.
if you've already been where you want to be, why do you have to take so many extra steps to get there again?

only two more years i guess.
i just want winter to come.
snowboarding is my anti-drug.
not even anti-drug, it is my "drug."

i'm pysched for winter.
hopefully it will be good.
i'm going to be working parkcrew and what not.
hopefully i can handle that with school and what not.
i just want to snowboard.

oregon was the best time of my life.
i'll write all about it at sometime.
we just went snowboarding, cliff jumping, then "partied" every day.
met so many fun people and great friends.
i can't wait to go back.
hopefully i can get an internship in portland then live in govy.
fingers crossed.

so you know life is never as bad as you make it out to be.
it can always be worse.

i've also realized that:
-it is always nicer in the sun. say is 28 degrees out it's still nicer in the sun. even when its warm out it's always nicer in the sun.
-and that one of the greatest things in life is when it's cold out and you lay on that sunny spot on the carpet that is nice and warm. and just sit there for awhile. man that's great.

so this weekend pretty much blew. haha.
i came home so i could go to killington on saturday.
but then no one had called me back so i had no one to go with.
so i wound up not going and doing nothing.
me and scott ordered our plane tickets for oregon. we peace out may 30th. should be dope.
we sent in our rent also.
i can not wait.

saturday night i saw at my house did my transportation project and listened to tom petty all night.
haha.
i love tom petty.
and maggie may by rod stewart.

sunday kind of sucked to but marisa came over to watch planet earth and that show is always awesome.
the cave one was so rad.

i can't wait for school to be over.

so i'm going to try to write in this thing more.

tara and i are over. its a long story. it sucks real bad but its over.

so this past weekend.
i don't remember what we did on friday.
but saturday.
me zach and mark went to big boulder for another day of shrednastyshredding. we left at about 7am got there alittle after 8am.
we couldn't find where to buy lift tickets. so we walked about. and ran into frank and tim.
a glorious surprise.
we finally found the place to buy tickets. and it was dope.
they had so much shit set up. all the way left was just jibs all day. it was really funny. some of the boxes were sticky. but still fun.
then the main straight run. was a sweet down flat down which was impossible to get to the end though. then two steep ass down rails. then a 30/20 ft booter combo. then a 40/25 ft combo. into a 50 footer. took me a while to warm up to the 50 but it was fun as balls once me and frankie boy started to hit it. then at the bottom they had like six hikeable rails/boxes. which was really fun.
overall it was a really great day. we left around 3 or 4 ish.
came home showered up. for a lovely night of festivites with "the mose."
i had promised johnny moseley that i would drink with him before he left for the marines.
so we brought over his girl and some grey goose. so then cedric came over and scott and stef and zach was of course there.
then marisa. johnny moseley spilt a nice screwdriver all over marisa haha. so we all had fun. and i didn't get hammer drunk but it was a fun time. cedric and scott got hammer drunk. we then presuaded marisa to drive to whitecastle. but first we had to drop off ariana in montville. then we went to white castle then to mcdonalds.
so we all then went back to my house. and then they all went home.
and i miss "the mose" already. i can't wait for the moseley drought haha.

sunday i sat on my couch all day.
then watched planet earth. and entourage.
